In the past year I have made big progress in my literary development. Starting a 75 books reading challenge on Goodreads (Don't know Goodreads? Check out my profile!) gave a huge boost to my reading, plus becoming a member of the Munich library, where I can get almost every book I want. My goal was to read lots of classics and I can proudly say this goal has been reached. Goodreads stats tell me almost a quarter of the books I've read the past eleven months are from the 19th century, a quick count adds four works from the 18th century and one from the 14th (Thomas Malory's King Arthur). What I particularly like about these past centuries is the fact that there were no cars, no mobile phones, no internet, read: way less stress. For me, losing myself in the pre-online age is the perfect way to relax.
